Valve releases Steam beta to test new recommendation settings

Valve has released a Steam beta, introducing users to a new feature for it that recommends games based on what is already in your Steam account.
The cool thing about the new feature is that you can also make recommendations and send them along to your pals on Steam.
You can also see what games those on your friend list are playing, and their recommendations as well.
If you want into the beta, just go into the beta update located in the setting tab on your account.
Thanks, BigDowload.

They already have recommendations when you look on the Steam Store
I guess this feature will just add it to the community section or somethin

I don’t recall ever seeing any sort of recommendations on Live.
You’ve always been able to see what online friends are currently playing on Steam (like Live), now you’ll be able to see what they’ve been playing generally too.

@7
Medal of Honor -> Battlefield: Bad Company 2 -> Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 -> Call of Duty Modern Warfare -> Battlefield 2
Due to time, I won’t name all the World War FPS games.
Call of Duty World At War -> Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway -> Call of Duty 3 -> Day of Defeat: Source -> Call of Duty 2 -> Brothers In Arms: Earned in Blood -> Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30 -> Call of Duty -> Battlefield 1942 -> Medal of Honor -> The actual World War 1/2
Xbox -> Playstation -> Nintendo and so on… all the way to PC
So who really copyed of who? Hmmm
