Amazon has apparently uploaded a picture of Dead Space 2′s Collector’s Edition.

There has been no official announcement regarding this special edition by EA.

It’s been taken off swiftly but that didn’t prevent an watchful gamer from taking a snapshot.

The picture reveals that in addition to the game disc, the CE will come bundled with an art cell, a redeemable exclusive DLC card, a CD soundtrack and a replica of the Plasma Cutter weapon. Good stuff.

Visceral canvassed for ideas on what to include in the bonus SKU back in January.

Dead Space 2 will be out on January 25th next year for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

So this is a second CE then? Because apparently for PS3 there isnt a standard edition, only a CE.

I loved the first Dead Space and wasn’t sure about this one… but damn, if there’s a plasma cutter in it, I might get the CE !
Let’s just hope the game will also be compatible with the PS Move (playing RE5 with it at the moment and it could be a really nice addition to the game)

so how do you like RE5 with the move?
is it true you have to shoot with your thumb?

@7 : I tried RE5 at the time it got released and didn’t like the controls that much. I prefer the way it is controlled with the PS Move, which is very close to the way RE4 was played with the wiimote. And yes, you have to shoot with your thumb (just like on the wii).
Overall the controls in RE5 are/were flawed from the start, but at least now it is playable and enjoyable
