Mortal Kombat's website countdown ends, goes live

MKlogopic

TheMortalKombat.com is now live.

If you click on the link above, you will see the page without a countdown, and instead, links to the game's Facebook page, links to the game's YouTube page which has trailers and development diaries, along with how to follow the game on Twitter.

Yesterday, a tweet confirmed it as "Mortal Monday", which will be every Monday from here on out.

"Lots of cool stuff in the works for MortalMonday. Kontent unlocking all day long. Be on the lookout"

Each Monday, the site will be updated in conjunction with Mortal Mondays.

Nothing is noted on the site regarding the rumoured MK HD compilation, though, it will showcase "five legendary characters" including Scorpion - who is the focus at the moment - , Sub-Zero and Mileena.

Check out the latest trailer here.

There’s no exact date for Mortal Kombat, or an official name just yet, but it’s expected sometime next year for PS3 and Xbox 360.
