Report - 20-40 people laid off at Raven Software

singularity

According to reports from Shack and Kotaku, 20-40 people have been laid off at Singularity developer Raven Software.

The studio "is realigning its workforce to better reflect the studio's upcoming slate," according to an Activision statement to Kotaku.

Raven faced similar layoffs last summer after the completion of Wolfenstein and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, with as many as 30-35 people laid off at the time.

Kotaku claims that the studio has now focused its priorities towards downloadable content, with it previously rumoured to be making DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Raven's last title, Singularity, released earlier this summer.

All the best to those affected.
