MvC 3: Sir Arthur, Spencer, Magneto and M.O.D.O.K announced, screens and trailer

Capcom’s unleashed a host of new Marvel vs Capcom 3 goodies at the New York Comic-Con, revealing four new playable characters for the game.

Two new Capcom fighters have been confirmed as Sir Arthur from the Ghost ‘n Goblins series and Nathan “Rad” Spencer from Bionic Commando. Get their announcement trailers and screens below.

Not to be left behind, screenshots over at Marvel.com revealed two more characters from the comic side: Magneto from the X-Men and M.O.D.O.K. have both made the cut.

Magneto was shown in a trailer for the game, trapping Chun-Li in a gravity orb during the Marvel panel this morning at Comic Con, along with one shown of MODOK versus TRON. MODOK can “grab enemies with his arms and electrocute them”, and the trailer showed a “powered up laser shot at Dante, destroying him” (thanks, Joystiq).

MvC 3 releases in spring 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
