Super Mario Collection getting EU release on December 3

Nintendo’s just confirmed a December 3 EU launch for Super Mario Collection for Wii.
The collection, to celebrate 25 years of Mario, will consist of Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, as well as “a bunch of extra collectables.”
The first SMB launched in 1985 on the NES.
The collection was previously thought to be a Japanese-only release. It’ll launch there on October 21.
Nintendo announced this morning a special Mario-branded Wii that will release on November 11 in Japan.

Four games. For the NES.
If this had been a Sega-collection, these would have been unlockable extras.

And this was worth is own disc-based release? They could have put Sunshine on there or atleast Mario 64. What a waste of a DVD.

I’d have to agree with @5. The interface to access the game is going to be bigger in file size than the damn games themselves.
Would of been nice to have some of the later Marios, Mario World, Yoshi’s Island and that would of been nice.
Still if it’s available for a decent price (i.e. not £40) then it may be worth grabbing.

Its like collector edition swag only without a real game in the package to make it worth it. Selling this for over a tenner is a stretch imo.
