Honey, you give love a bad name.

Sorry had to be done.

Bon Jovi will release its Greatest Hits collection in stores on November 9, and as part of the promotion, the band will allow the collection to be downloaded as DLC for Rock Band 3.

“Bon Jovi is undergoing all manner of promotional activities, including a tour,” MTV’s SVP of electronic games and music, Paul DeGooyer, told MCV. “And we are partnering with them to help bring that to the masses.

“Bon Jovi, for us, is one of our most requested artists. We’ve had a couple of songs on disc, but we’ve never done a vertical campaign like this with them. We are working with Bon Jovi on activity for the compilation and other elements that they haven’t announced yet.”

The band’s guitarist, Richie Sambora, added: “The great thing about Rock Band is it gets music to a whole new generation of people, which is totally amazing to me.”

All of you are lying if you say you won’t download at least some of this. God squashes kittens when you lie, you know.

Rock Band 3 is out October 26 and 29 in the US and UK, respectively.

I was gonna post this pic instead of the one up top, but thought it was best saved for the comments instead, due to eyes too young to appreciate it.

Jon Bon Jovi = legend. What a man.
