Josh Bridge, senior producer for Dead Rising 2, has posted over on the US PS Blog some nice looking DLC is heading to the game very soon.

First up, is the Psychopath Theme Pack on October 12. It gives you a crazy looking horror outfit and makes you “stronger and deadlier” with a chainsaw, cleavers, axes, and machetes.

Next up will be the Soldier of Fortune Theme that “decks you out as the ultimate action hero with increased deadliness for all firearms”. It is out on October 19.

Then, there’s the Sports Fan Pack with you as the “ultimate sports party animal” who can drink as much as he wants and not get sick. As someone who paints themselves, you are also “more deadly with any sporty weapons” and when gambling you will come out the winner more often. The Sports Fan pack will arrive on PSN October 26.

Last but not least, is the Ninja Theme. As the ninja, you are “virtually undetectable to the undead” and you are more deadly with swords and throwing weapons The Ninja pack will hit PSN on November 2.

No pricing was mentioned in the post, so we’ll ask about it. The packs will also land on XBL the same day.

Dead Rising 2 is out now.

Ask them about an infinity mode DLC whilst you’re there. :(

The sports one really helps when you first start out, it gives you more health from food, makes you move faster and lets you drink alcohol without ever getting sick.

Wow I love the game but this DLC is truly awful. In the ‘olden days’ weren’t u able to input cheats that would essentially give u these abilities…?
Nowadays they just save it for after and give the cheat a price tag and new character skin and call it DLC.
Only interested in DLC when it includes more combo cards. Other than that it’s all just laziness.
