Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game getting DLC in November

Those who’ve been playing Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game should know Ubisoft has announced DLC is headed for the game in November.
The news was dropped during Ubi’s Digital Day event a couple of days ago, so we apologize for missing this little nugget for you earlier in the week.
Knives Chau will be a new playable character in the DLC, and there will also be a new free-for-all arena battle with weapons and dodgeball, along with two new modes.
A patch will be also be released to balance difficulty, fix some bugs, and add offline drop-in/drop-out co-op.
Ubisoft told Joystiq online co-op for the game is not planned, and this is the only DLC to be released for the title.
The DLC is expected to run $1.99/160 MSP on PSN and XBL, respectively, and will be released to coincide with the film hitting Blu-ray and DVD on November 9.
You can check out some screens of the DLC over on IGN.

What are they thinking not putting online co-op in this game? Rarely has there ever been a game more perfect for it. They can add whatever they want, but that’s the big, glaring omission that everyone wants corrected, and they’re not doing it. Hooray for making sense!
