Eurogamer Expo 2010 – LBP2 rocking socks with off-screen co-op footage

Watch two-and-a-half minutes worth of footage of three-player co-op of LittleBigPlanet 2 from EGE below.

The video shows off mostly in part one of the major new tools for the Media Molecule DIY title, the grappling hook.

The game was due to hit next month, but has been delayed now until January 2011 for PS3.

Media Molecule will be having a dev session on it at EGE tomorrow morning at 11.30am.

I didnt have much fun with the first LBP but maybe thats because i never got into creating my own levels. I did recently play some online levels that were USER created and i was really impressed.

I am going to buy this for my little sister in-law and if i like it, i’ll get me a copy later on.

I hope the control is tightened up over the first one. But watching the video I am guessing it isn’t.

I still rate LBP as one of the best looking games ever made. The charming design, animation and realistic textures put most big budget glossy productions to shame.
