“No plans” for a 3rd Birthday demo, says Square

Bummer.

Square Enix has said there are “no plans” to release a demo of The 3rd Birthday before its release in December in Japan.

“The questions about distributing a demo, I’m afraid to say there are no plans,” director Hajime Tabata tweeted.

The game, the third in the Parasite Eve series, was recently dated for a December 22 release in Japan. It’ll hit the west next year on PSP.

Square’s also looking at releasing the first two Parasite Eve titles as PS1 classics.

I don’t think there’s nothing to be suspicious about.

If it was new, a demo could end up potentially delaying the game. But again, that’s if it was new and not a TGS demo.
