Medal of Honor most pre-ordered title in franchise's history, says EA

EA's announced today Medal of Honor has become the most pre-ordered title in the series since its origins 11 years ago.

The reboot was announced late last year after a two year absence with the release of Airborne, with the latest title, co-developed by Danger Close - nee part of EALA - and DICE, bringing the series into the Afghanistan war.

EA's also reminded us the short open beta of the shooter's multiplayer will begin on Monday and ends next Thursday.

Medal of Honor releases on October 12 in the US and October 15 in the UK for PS3, PC and 360.
