Capcom piggybacked Nintendo's 3DS date and price announcement this morning to confirm two titles for the system, showing off first screens of Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D and dropping new shots of Resident Evil: Revelations, the 3DS RE game it announced at E3 this year.

The new horror title was described as being "set in the Resident Evil universe," and will "deliver relentless action with players competing against the clock to defeat as many enemies as possible in a fixed time."

The game will feature Mercenaries missions from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, as well as new modes and extra characters from the series.

The title will take advantage of 3DS's WiFi Connectivity, meaning you'll be able to kill the bad guys with your friends wherever you are.

Mega Man Legends 3 Project was also announced, and will apparently give fans "an opportunity to be part of the development process like never before as they interact directly with the team."

Further details of this project will be revealed at next month’s New York Comic-Con.

Nintendo said this morning that 3DS will launch on February 26 in Japan and March in the US and Europe.
