New L4D2 mutation mode is Survival Versus
If you’re not a team player, chances are you’re not going to like this.
Valve’s announced the latest mutation mode for Left 4 Dead 2, reintroducing Survival Versus to the shooter.
The mode sees two teams of four competitively trying to defeat enemies on a picked Survival map, with one team setting the time while the other tries to beat it before the cycle repeats.
First team that outlives the other team wins, basically.
Couldn’t get simpler then that.

“in any way” the space is important.
And it’s news because it lets you know what the mutation is and whether it’s worth playing without having to boot the game or go to another source like the valve/steam blog.
