Nomura: Kingdom Hearts 3D takes place after Re:Coded

kingdomhearts3ds

Square's Tetsuya Nomura has said the next game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise is Kingdom Hearts 3D.

Speaking in this week's issue of Famitsu, the designer said the time frame for the game will take place after the events in Re:Coded, which releases in Japan on October 7.

Kingdom Hearts 3D is the 3DS entry in the Kingdom Hearts series announced at E3, and has yet to be given a proper name.

Development will only move along a bit faster once Final Mix, announced at TGS and a Japanese version of Birth by Sleep for PSP, is finished.

Nomura also said Re:Coded has around 800 parts for your avatars, and some are rather rare. It also includes a trophy system, where you will find around 30, 20 of which you will need in order to view a Secret Movie.

Lots of Kingdom Heart news, there.

Thanks, Andriasang.
