Oh, got it! Bioware’s going to help Crytek to make a Crysis RPG, or maybe a Medal of Honor RPG in Afghanistan.

forged By Chaos i saw. It’s not impressive because it’s MMORPG. So limitations will be everywhere.

Th only thing I can say is that Cghub is very well known in the cgartist community, is frequented mainly by pros and is not strange to see job list posted by majors.
You can easly meet, everyday , art directors and concept artist from ID Soft, Ubisoft, EA, Arenanet, MassiveBlack, blizzard, Lucas Arts… So I believe it is a legit post.

Not happening since majority of the Jade Empire team went to make Dragon Age. Bioware said they would make a sequel to Jade Empire but there has to be a demand for it.

@7 there is demand for Jade Empire all Twenty of them myself included want a Jade Empire 2 or atleast re-release the original with an hd face lift and the content included in the pc port

I’m confused. On the site linked are only job ads for EA Montreal. That’s not the same as Bioware Montreal, or is it? Bioware has a site with job ads for Montreal, but these are different jobs. Can’t find any military FPS there.

The orginal page was written by ‘Ea/bioware Montreal’ but now it’s just ‘EA’…

anyway, all the position at your link are redirected to the official EA career site and land on a EA- Bioware page. The skill request and the description are similar just there’s no “tip” about the titles.

Not really. Only one job ad bears the same title, namely “lead designer” and this is the only ad where the description is somewhat similar, as you would expect for the same position, even for two different companies. There are 4 job ads posted on cghub for EA Montreal and 9 job ads posted on the Bioware/EA-Pages with only 1 job ad for the same position. It doesn’t make any sense if they have already job ads for Bioware Montreal to make new ones that are more specific about the games than the old ones and offer a job specifically for EA Montreal, which is a existing company, while meaning Bioware, which is another existing company.

I don understand if you mean that they are two ‘different’ company.

- Every position listed on Bioware site land on the EA Career website:
“BioWare (www.bioware.com), one of the newest members of the incredible family of EA studios”

Last but not least:
Author of the post on CGhub is Masah Kalugin (Senior Recruiter for EA AND BioWare Montreal) and on his twitter page wrote:
-”Calling all gaming programmers – EA and BioWare Montreal is hiring!”
-”is calling all Lead and Senior Level Designers for opportunities at EA and BioWare Montreal. Awesome projects, great studio and team! Come… ” and so on

As you see, one recruiter is working on building a team and he use every media (blog, twitter, forum…)
I think he wrote a more specific profile and description on cghub ’cause, as I told before, that community is full of pros and thye wanna know what kind of stuff they’re talking about.
