EA hiring for “AAA multiplayer action game”

EA’s hiring for a “AAA action game” that features multiplayer, according to SystemLink.
The publisher posted the job listing on LinkedIn on Friday. The description for it reads:
“Experienced network game engineer to design and implement network systems on an AAA multiplayer action game. Candidates must have good communication skills and be able to drive implementation of network communication systems and networked gameplay features.”
Although it’s not clear whether or not this is something unannounced, EA has already confirmed its entire line-up for the rest of this financial year, including Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2.
The publisher has also confirmed some larger products beyond the March year, including a spring release for The Old Republic and a summer ship for the recently-announced Shadows of the Damned.

Why do we never see anyone recruiting for a ‘not bad, sort of middling’ action game?

@5 I just don’t care, i just want to see Battlefield 3. They are cooking that dinner for YEARS already. There must be something special at the level upgrade from Battlefield 1942 to the Battlefield 2 at that time.
Enough with silly Bad companies, it’s time to strike hard.
@6 cool idea btw

Looks to me like they want a consultant of some sort. It’s definitely EALA (is that all relabeled Danger Closer now?).

They must be starting their next project after Medal of Honor.

@jhonny cullen
ok, Johnny, so do you like job listing yeah?
I’ve got something for you – actually FAR MORE INTERESTING that your ‘network game engineer’.
EA / BioWare (Montreal) search for:
-Concept Artist for Military-genre Franchise
-Lead Designer for Military-genre FPS
-Senior Level Designer for new Action Adventure IP
-Technical Artist for Popular FPS

Let it be something new, let it be something good and PLEASE don’t let it be made by DICE.

It could be the Respawn Entertainment’s new game.

@13 Amen.
@14 I think they hire for themselves no? I think the EA Partners thing is meant to provide seperation between development and publishing.
The location points to EALA (Danger Close?).
