Kamiya hits out at DMC's new Dante

dmc6

Hideki Kamiya is a bit p**sed about the new Devil May Cry and the remodelled Dante. Even more so than the internet. And you know the internet: it gets mental.

Kamiya, the creator of the series at Capcom, hit out at DMC following its reveal at TGS this week.

When asked about the Ninja Theory-led reboot, Kamiya basically replied, "Whatever," in a tweet in English.

One user then said he missed the old Dante, and Kamiya said, "I miss him, too."

"I’ve been sad since Dante left me," he later replied.

Capcom announced DMC at its TGS showcase this week, showing a revamped, younger Dante.

No date yet, but it will release on PS3 and 360.

Kamiya left the Devil May Cry series to develop Bayonetta at Platinum.
