PSA: Sonic Adventure now on XBL, dated for PSN

sonicadventure

SEGA wants to remind you that Sonic Adventures is now available on Xbox Live.

It’s also given it a September 21 and 22 release on PSN, for the US and UK receptively.

The Dreamcast classic’s been digitally re-mastered with 720p graphics and Dolby Digital Sound for 800 MSP/$10/£ 6.29/€7.99.

It features Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and the rest of gang as they take on Dr. Eggman.

“This week marked the eleventh anniversary of the Dreamcast’s arrival,” said Haruki Satomi, VP of digital business at SEGA of America.

“We feel there’s no better way to honor that milestone than by providing both new and veteran gamers with the chance to experience Sonic’s first thrilling 3D adventure in High Definition.”

Sounds groovy. Check out screens for it below.

You could delete “for PSN” from the title and end up with a more forthright statement.

it feels quite dated, no crap. still plays better than any of the later 3d Sonic games.
