I didnt quite understand the Samurai Heroes demo, one minute i’m cutting people up, the next a fucking robot comes out of nowhere and knocks me around.

But what i really dont understand is why the game is such a blantant ripoff of Dynasty Warriors. I mean EVERYTHING in there (minus the robot) is also in Dynasty Warriors. I’d understand if the game was made by the same people but its not.

Wow, TGS is going to be a complete bust. Good job they booked Last Guardian at the last minute.

I didn’t much like the first one. I’m sort of half-interested in Okami, but I’d have been full-interested in it if it’d been on any platform other than the DS.

I was thinking about MvsC3 the other day and DLC

I think that DLC characters was planed for this game from the start and that we’ll see a lot of fan favorites purposely left out of the game to be used as DLC

I’m expecting we’ll have to fork out extra for characters like Cable, strider, gambit, capt commando, cyclops and dare i say it spiderman…

    My words are solid

    @Blerk:

TBH I liked it, but I’m nowhere near finishing it; old school difficulty getting a bit too old for my fingers it seems…

Okami, on the other hand, got that on Wii, but I’m sorry to admit it’s still wrapped…

Okami was one of my all-time favourite PS2 games. To see a sequel knobbled onto the DS is heartbreaking. :-(

    I agree Mington.

And thinking about that just reenfources my hatred for DLC. In so many ways I loath this generation.

This looks shit, but I bet you anything TGS won’t be a bust at all.

It will have many many announcements.

95% of which will be for incomprehensible DS and PSP games. :-)

@Blerk, you’re clearly not the kind of guy who wishes for world peace at Christmas.

I’m a bit excited for TGS, especially for the early-morning starts I’ll be doing, something that hasn’t been done since the first day of E3.

World Peace is really difficult. If you just wish for a nice bar of chocolate and a decent cup of coffee instead you’re much more likely to come away pleased. :-)

Will anyone from VG247 be going to TGS?

    Na.

Too big of an ask really, compared to Pat and Nathan going to E3, or me and Pat at gamescom.

I really want to go to it in the near-future, though.

Well, I guess the point is Blerk, you’re wishing for non-alcoholic beverages at Christmas, and have low expectations for TGS.

You’ve got no hope. Or at the very least skewed views of Christmas.

I’d assume everything being in Japanese (like the conferences) might make it abit awkward to.

I’d take coffee over alcohol any day of the week. Maybe that’s just me.

Not interested at all. Capcom is far from being my favourite software house.
