New inFamous 2 gameplay released
Sony and Sucker Punch have used PAX to release some brand new inFamous 2 gameplay footage, showing a shaven-headed Cole up to his old tricks.
As you can see from the video, the new look Cole is seen taking out all manner of creatures with his bolts of electricity. Shocking.
It’s a brilliant trailer full of smoke, explosions and plenty of action.

i liked the old new cole, nevertheless, still looks cool.
They’re still adding in the new powers like ice right? haven’t heard anything since they showed the first clip of inFamous2

The game is just AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+ title.
I’m so excited about this. Wished they could make more videos of Infamous 2.
and yes, there are ZERGS from Starcraft II XD
and someone learned a lot building this engine. Destruction, graphics and design are superb. There are a lot of details. I’m just interested in how much structures we can crush. So this gen. Lovely.
PS: One more thing. I wish they could do some weather effects. Without wind and some effects looks still great, but they could improve just for fun.

@5 Like random rain, fog blankets, dust and e.t.c. that would be really strong for this game.
But game barely runs 30 FPS per second already. Look at the fauna, at the trees and shadows they render. Thats just looks cool for the sandbox game.

Looks cool, I do have some concerns about the way the cam and char move. I saw a lot of cam shake, esp during the end sequence fight. Just didn’t look nice and smooth.
But I almost wonder if that wasn’t by design as in added effect for intensity. I hope not, I liked it except for that part, worried it will give me a head ache while playing.

This Cole will do! SP keep this one and place all the focus now on gameplay and graphics improvement. So far this game looks fantastic. Keep polishing. Will purchase!

The sound design is fantastic.
The crackle of the electricity, the snarling horse sound of the creature, the stabbing strings and flat horns.
Impressive.

The camera does seem to be more dynamic, I think it’s by design. I have no issue to it, it looks cool.

this game can not come out soon enough, it looks so sweet! i don’t care that they changed up Cole, i like the first one so i’m buying this game on Day 1!!!

Fuck me. Almost worth buying a PS3 for! Shame I need to save for the 3DS :/ I agree with the above about the sound design, really impressive stuff.
