I never pre-order anything anyway, but personally i didn’t like the second one all that much at all. Can’t really put my finger on it, but it really didn’t wow me so much as i hoped. We’ll see about KZ3.

New environments? I see the same old boring monotone industrial district in those shots.

Did not care for KZ2 at all, and will be staying well clear of KZ3.

Do i see Morphological Anti-Aliasing? No, i mean serious. Second screen looks fantastic, others? Not so much.

I think these are all Multiplayer shots. If that’s the case, does the last shot mean we’ll see dropships in MP?

I’d like to see some of the other environments GG talked about, like the jungle.

What with their masks and goggles, i’d imagine punching a helgast in the face would cause your fist more damage then anything else.

I liked only multiplayer. It was rock solid with classes. But single sucked ass really.

So will i preorder? Probably not. Will i get it? Probably Yes.

i got KZ2, the controls where funky … but the game was and became INTENSE couse of it .. now they say they will have a “standard” control sceam .. will see how that works ..

on the side note … KZ2 was… Hardcore…bosses was awesome and it was Hard as hell !

I don’t know what the hell you guys are complaining about. To this day no FPS has surpassed KZ2 IMO. The only problem was the somewhat lack of variety in the environments which will be solved with KZ3. In KZ you actually have to be skillful as the controls are weighty. Feb can’t come too soon for me and ofcourse I’ll preorder this.

No idea, they look like MP classes in the shots so maybe the Intruders are some sort of environment hazard? The devs said that there’d be more stuff like that in KZ3. I doubt they have anything to do with what the players are doing though.

If the guys say KZ2 did not impress them then they dont know fucking gaming. Sure it has different controls over MW2 but that was the point. In reality and real life its fucking hard to be in middle of warfare and aim in split second to kill somone. KZ2 had that approach as well good cover system, where you had to fight from cover to cover moving slowly though the map. Just like real warfare, you take cover, aim and hoping for the best..

I could never get the mounted guns to work in KZ2 multiplayer. Never played it that much, bug dug the game. Did they work at only, only during certain modes, or never?

It was certainly alot better than the first, but i don’t get the hype for it and i’m not gonna lie. I played through it, but for some reason it simply didn’t wow me or had me going ‘OMFG’ or whatsoever. I like the FPS genre alot, but for me Killzone 2 wasn’t one i immensely enjoyed. It has especially to do with the evironments and even though the ‘slow’ controls looked realistic, i think this is something that bothered me too.

I didn’t like KZ2 either. Was very dissapointed with it.

I will stick with mag on PS3, thnx.

Have to say KZ2 done nothing for me really.
Having read the glowing reviews it was a must buy for me but was disappointed when I played it.

It just felt like it should have and could have been much better.
Guns were good and all that but it just became very repetitive for me.

I will be interested in 3 but not until I get players feed back rather than site reviews.

KZ2 was great. The only thing that bothered me with it is no split screen vs. I have lots of friends that like to come over and play splitscreen halo or COD….would have been great to have it in KZ2 and BFBC2
