Yakuza PS3 concept art hints at "The End," Sega gives no comment on TGS reveal

yakuza ps3 2

Going by an image of the new PS3 Yakuza in Famitsu's latest issue, there's no love in this end. Instead, only catastrophic things.

The magazine has shown the series's familiar trademark district of Kamurocho in what appears to be the aftermath of a bombing.

Why? We'll most likely find out next month at TGS, where the game is supposed to get a full reveal, right?

"I can't comment I'm afraid," a Sega PR told VG247 via email just now.

As for the message itself, it could mean the end of the series as we know it, or the end of the series full stop.

There's a direct-feed version at GameWatch.

The game's been known to be in development for a while, but there's hardly any information on the project out in the open.

Thanks, Andriasang.
