Next Traviss Gears novel hitting August 31

Epic said overnight that Karen Traviss's next Gears of War novel will be Anvil Gate, to release next week.
Out August 31, the book is a Gears of War 3 prequel, detailing events after the end of Gears 2.
We won't spoil the ending of the last game, but if you want to read the blurb, it's here.
The book will be published by Del Rey.
Traviss has written both previous Gears books - Aspho Fields and Jacinto’s Remnant - and also wrote Gears of War 3's storyline.
She was recently confirmed as writing the next set of Halo novels for Tor.
Gears of War 3 releases on April 8 next year.
