Gran Turismo 5 gets blue PS3

Sony Japan is celebrating the release of Gran Turismo 5 the only way it knows how, by releasing a brand-new blue PS3.
The Gran Turismo 5 racing pack arrives on November 13 for ¥35,980 ($421), complete with a special “Titanium Blue” 160GB PS3 Slim.
Arriving on the same day is the actual game, which will be available for ¥7,980 ($93), although Sony Japan will also release a Limited-run Edition with five DLC cars and a 308-page book, for the same price.
Thanks, Joystiq.

It’s a bit too Tory for my liking.

I think that’s quite nice, actually. Better than those horrible white ones, anyway.

Should have been carbon fiber. Now that would have rocked.

I’m not sure what blue has got to do with GT5.
A black or carbon grey would of been nicer, with the GT logo embossed on the top. Maybe the GT on the Dualshock as well.

@7
The G in the GT logo has always been blue and this color matches the new GT5 logo. Black is already the standard and grey has been done before with MGS4. There could even be a red PS3 by Christmas so T wouldn’t feel left out.

He eats Biros.
That thing looks much nicer than the white ones. Now if they’d do a purple one I’d be tempted to replace my black slim…!

Maybe if they do a red one, you can put them side by side and see them in 3D.

so fucking hot or cold in this case and shiney, but not glossy, which could be a good thing
