haloreach10

In just four weeks, Halo: Reach will be out and loads of you will call in sick to work.

To celebrate, Bungie has released a new video called A Spartan Will Rise, and you thought the one found on YouTube this morning was all you'd get.

In it, the video offers a preview of Noble Team's story, who "through great sacrifice and courage, saved countless lives in the face of impossible odds".

Watch it here, on Halo Waypoint.

Halo: Reach is currently available for pre-order in Standard, Limited and Legendary editions at participating retailers with the Standard running £49.99, and the Limited and Legendary editions of the game for £59.99 and £99.99, respectively.

Oh, and don't forget about the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle for £249.99 exclusively at GAME and gamestation, especially if you're needing a new system anyway. A headset and wireless controller are also available for £39.99 and £34.99, respectively.

The game launched worldwide on September 14.

Microsoft's presser and Game Days is about to go off now. We're liveblogging it. Get that here.

Bungie has also released new screens from the game, via its Facebook page. They're of the Firefight Map - "Corvette". Get those below.

Basically, the area is a huge Covenant hangar base with lot of areas up high perfect for sniping, and even an open floor for gravity hammer usage, and waves of enemies coming from dropships.
