Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collector’s Edition outed

Gamerzines has outed a Collector’s Edition for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, retailing on a Mexican retailer.
The CE runs in at 1,290.00 Mexican pesos (£65) on GamePlanet, and features the game itself, as well as an art book, the soundtrack and “a bespoke cover”.
According to GZ, the CE is also listed on GameStop and EB Games’ websites in the US, although there’s nothing on UK sites.
We’ll email Konami for comment.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadows releases this fall for PS3 and 360.

Almost $1300?
That’s an expensive collector’s edition.
I think I’ll just get the regular one.

I’d say the only people who “fail” here are the ones that read the words “Mexican retailer” yet still assume the price is in US Dollars.

Halo Reach’s most expensive collector’s edition is over 3000 pesos.
