Report – High Voltage lays off between 20 and 30 staffers

theconduit2

A report has surfaced claiming High Voltage, developers of The Conduit and its upcoming sequel, has laid off between 20 and 30 employees today.

Sources close to Joystiq told the site the final tally could be “a lot more”.

With The Conduit 2 set for release this fall on Wii, it could be the usual lay-offs associated with finishing up a game, then again, it could be unrelated.

We’ll send a mail.

Aid off? I don’t understand the story. Are you trying to say that the people who were working on the game are now infected with aids?

Oh well. Even without those 20-30 employees they can still manage to cobble together Conduit 2. Shame

@1 So do I. Sounds more fun anyway. Like some sort of accent saying something a bit “rawr”.

@3 No kidding. But thanks for the solidarity.

All – The laptop was taken to the “expert” last night, so hopefully lag issues and keys working hither thither will be a thing of the past. Long live desktops that work.
