Halo: Reach gets new campaign trailer, is off the chain
Is Bungie’s farewell to Halo with Reach going with a bang? No. It’s going out with a nuclear bang.
Microsoft’s released a new Campaign trailer of the game this afternoon.
It comes on the back of a slew of Reach announcements last week at Comic-Con, including a £250 hardware bundle and the addition of Forge 2.0.
The clip shows how the war between the UNSC and the Covenant began, and reveals some of the game’s massive moments.
Anyone not excited for this can be considered “mental”. This looks like a proper send-off, going by the looks of the trailer. Watch it below.

One of the few games I’m actually excited about this year (the other being GT5). Shining gems in an otherwise average year for gaming.

There are some hands on previews going live in early August for this, it is looking pretty good, a Halo game to live up to the original?

Man, you must have some pretty high standards if you honestly think that trailer is “crap” or an “epic fail”.
Looks amazing to me. I know these are all opinions. I’m just saying (ofcourse..i’ve always prefered campaign over multiplayer)

Funny thing is 3 was the first one I played.
I actually have 1 on the hd but only managed a few missions.
I love 3 so am really pumped for this.
Eventually killed the 2 scarabs last night on legendary and man it was super tough.
I reckon 3 to be one of the best fps sp games out there so if this is better happy days for me.

@10: I only ever play the SP campaign too, however I just thought as a trailer, this wasn’t so great. There was no focus, no epic climax, no plot point reveals – I’ve no doubt in my mind that the game is great, I just didn’t think this trailer did a great job of explaining that.

my favourite trailer i can remember off the top of my head was that 6min DC Universe online trailer, i seriously loved it, & that had 0 gameplay fottage in it, just an awesome trailer

I have done a few missions but I didn’t stick with it.
I think it was a combination of comparing it to todays games and lack of cheevos.
I must try it again.
Have to complete 3 on legendary first though.
Fingers crossed.

Only ones on my radar this year are this, Mafia 2, GOW:GOS, GT5, COD:BO, LBP2, AC2.5(brotherhood)and MP3. F:NV looks like F3.5. RAGE is gonna kill everything.

I am now officially on a NO HALO REACH Watch…or these damn game websites are going to show us all the Juicy parts and there will be nothing left to enjoy or be surprised by!!!
I wished I wouldn’t have even know about the Space Combat…playing that in real time without knowing about it, and having it happen while I was playing and not know about it ahead of the time would have “been off the Chain”. Now I know about the Space combat and My Joy-gasim is now just going to be a trickle because sadly I know about it…I guess that is the curse of coming daily to these very addicting websites!!
