Valve on Left 4 Dead PS3: "Who knows?"

Anyone up for Left 4 Dead on PS3? After the Portal 2 E3 megaton, "who knows?"

Valve PR boss Doug Lombardi has told PSM3 that the company's taking a wait-and-see approach to bringing other in-house games, like Left 4 Dead, to PS3.

"Who knows what the future will bring?" Lombardi speculated.

As for 3D and Move support on PS3 for Portal 2, there's no chance.

"[Move and 3D] will have to wait for Portal 3 or another title," he added. "We won't be supporting those in Portal 2."

Portal 2 is the studio's first in-house PS3 project, although it isn't its first game on the system altogether: The Orange Box released for PS3 in 2007.

But, unlike Portal 2, it wasn't handled by Valve but a port from EA, which didn't go down very well with most PS3 users.

EA Partners boss David DeMartini called the port a "challenge situation".

Portal 2 releases next year.
