Red Dead Redemption biggest selling US title in first-half 2010

Red-Dead-Redemption-2

Surprise of the year, this isn't. According to NPD figures, Red Dead Redemption is the biggest selling title in the US on combined platform sales so far this year.

The game sold a million-and-a-half units in the country at release in May, followed by another good result in last month's results with 963k units sold.

Second in 2010 so far is New Super Mario Bros Wii., with the top five finished off by Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Wii Fit Plus.

As for individual platform sales, NSMBW came as the winner of that one, followed by Pokemon SoulSilver, Red Dead Redemption on 360, God of War III and Wii Fit Plus.
