KINECT is way too expensive, just like Sony’s MOVE!

It’s targeted at a casual audience, so most likely this will only sell well to new customers who buy it bundled together with new consoles. And even THAT is questionable!

I really like my Xbox, but I’ll go for a Nintendo DS instead.

I got a feeling this is gonna be an uphill battle for Microsoft.

The price for the 360 with Kinect is pretty decent, and the 4GB of memory will be more than enough for the casual audience its aimed at. They’re definitely inflating the price of the peripheral by itself though.

Looking forward to it though, and intend to buy it on launch.

Regarding price, Microsoft have the money to keep this going as long as they have to get it into people’s homes, even if that takes 5 years.

I have PS Eye, but even with that i won’t buy Playstation move.

Move and Natal don’t have decent games, just Rip Off’s. (Sorcery for Move is cool, but one game? Lol no.)

Quite gutted at that price. It’s a shame, I’ve gone from definitely purchasing Kinnect to waiting for a decent price drop before I purchase it. I would’ve bought it day one if it was £100 or less. Not willing to pay that extra £30, ah well…life goes on.

Well that’s Kinect failing… by about £70 over the max price I’d pay for it. And I tend to but loads of useless overpriced crap as it is.

I can actually see this being a huge success same with Move, Nintendo would do well not to underestimate them.

So MS are basically going to have to try to convice people to buy a 360 (£199) and Kinect (£130) as well.

Why would any casual do that, when they could just get a Wii (£150) instead?
