343 Industries kicking off development on new Halo project
Looks like 343 Industries is starting to dig into its first big Halo project, if a CV from a studio staffer is anything.
Paul Ehreth’s LinkedIn shows the studio – built by Microsoft specifically for the IP following the release of Halo: Reach from Bungie which is its last title in the series – is beginning dev work on the project.
The 343 part of his CV’s been removed, however.
Expect a Halo 4 announce at E3 next year, then.
343 went on a manhunt at the beginning of this month, looking for fresh talent to add to the studio for the Halo IP.

When you say 343 Industries I thought you ment 343 different developers XD although I wouldnt be surprised, anything with the name of Halo will sell like hotcakes… Hmm hotcakes

Anyways…I hope its Halo 4. I want it to be a new story involving Master Chief on that new planet that nobody knows what it is at the end of Halo 3 legendary mode.
It would be great if it had something to do with Marathon or maybe, Survival Horrorish. Im talking like Dead Space but in FPS form. It could work but then it would not appeal to all the little kiddies that love Halo so im assuming the former would be a better direction.

Some of the best designers from bungie are in 343 studios now. I dont things will be all that different.
It will feel odd though..

or how about microsoft stop giving people the same experience and delve into the possibility of making new i.ps for the future which can be successful also.
