BioWare’s released details of a massive update for Dragon Age: Origins, which will go live later today for PC.

Included in the list are general fixes for both Origins and its Awakening expansion.

It’s big. How big? Try this big. Yeah. It’s properly big.

Get the skinny on it here.

The update will release on PS3 and 360 once it passes certification from Sony and Microsoft.

It should keep you cosy with Origins for now until Dragon Age 2 releases next March.

Thanks, Kotaku.

That’s huge now? That used to be a hotfix back in the days when patches used to actually do stuff :P

@4 I concur, I saw this post and was expecting them to have added some new free DLC or something, instead we get a bunch of stuff that should have been fixed months ago, lol.

I mean, they still haven’t put an advanced graphics option in the pc version.

Plus they never fixed the texture issues in ME1 because apprently the patch would have been about 1gb… which is perfectly fine for most people who can run the game :)

huh ? wich part of it is huge ? I know they did some abysmall patches for the game in comparison .. but it’s hardly night and day …

The game still massively rely on heavy modding to be really entirely enjoyable

@7 I guess that’s a matter of opinion… I entirely enjoyed it without installing a single mod. (Granted I was tempted to get a storage chest mod, but then found that one of the DLCs had one in it anyway.)
