GDC Europe organisers announced today Guerrilla Games boss Hermen Hulst will be hosting a keynote at the event next month in Cologne.

The Killzone developer will be discussing how the shooter series has become a triple-A success for Sony and PlayStation.

“We are excited to welcome to the GDC Europe stage such a prominent European developer and industry figure such as Hulst,” said GDC Europe director Frank Sliwka.

“The Killzone series and work produced from Guerrilla Games is exemplar of the ingenuity of European developers.”

Hulst’s addition to the event is the most recent, with Rare, BioWare, Quantic Dream, Crytek, and more confirmed.

GDC Europe takes place between August 16-28 during gamescom.
