Kinect to be playable at select Macy's stores in US

Those who live in, or around, large cities in the US and plan to do a bit of shopping at Macy's next week will be able to check out Kinect at selected stores.

Starting July 15, thirteen locations will feature preview stations for Kinect, allowing shoppers to try out the hardware first-hand.

Additionally, Macy's will give away one Kinect per day between August 12 and September 10 through a drawing on the store's official website.

  • Macy's Roosevelt Field - 630 Old Country Road - Garden City, NY
  • Macy's Lenox Square Mall - 3393 Peachtree Road NorthEast - Atlanta, GA
  • Macy's Valley Fair - 2801 Stevens Creek Boulevard - Santa Clara, CA
  • Macy's Dadeland Mall - 7303 S.W. 88TH Street- Miami, FL
  • Macy's Tysons Corner - 8000 Tysons Corner Center - McLean, VA
  • Macy's Easton Town Center - 4141 Easton Loop - Columbus, OH
  • Macy's Scottsdale - 7014 East Camelback Rd - Scottsdale, AZ
  • Macy's Galleria Mall - 5135 West Alabama Street - Houston, TX
  • Macy's Bellevue Proper - 400 Bellevue Square - Bellevue, WA

Kinect will launch on November 4 in the US, with no date set for Europe yet, but it’s to be announced next month at gamescom along with a price.  Speculation has prices ranging from £130 to $150.
