Witcher 2 gameplay videos are fantastic

The Witcher was just soo good. I wish I could wipe it from my memory and experience it again.

Just watched the first video, screen tear,stupid AI,bad animations,face expresions like a cow..

Let’s hope it gets better then this at retail eh?

This game is all about the story and immersion into a very fleshed out world with great gameplay… at least the fist was. This game is not about setting new benchmarks of graphical prowess.

Some of you expect every game to blow away every game before it. That’s just not practical and quite frankly, with that mindset, you will be disappointed with most of life.

We can all clearly see there is screen tear..and the AI in the fight sceen in video nr 1 is just to laugh att. The animations when they fight is just shit.

And the animations on people and faces just aint any good at all…

But it’s a while before the game goes retail so most of it wil probably be better by then. But not excepting what you actualy see on the videos..wel that is just sad.

If this gets a console port that isn’t broken then it’s a day one for me too.

@10 Same here! Was thinking about playing the first game on my pc but just thinking about all the fucking patching just gives me a bad taste in the mouth…

But what system it is running on makes no diffrence, and dont take it so “personaly” when someone is saying stuff about a game you like. Im just a gamer like everyone else and is just pointing out some stuff CD Projekt probably are gonne sort out before the game comes

I really hope they stick to their word of getting rid of the stupid, tedious fetch quests. That’s what caused me and a friend to give up on the game.

Otherwise it was pretty damn good.

guys we saw that video on gamespot stage demo and was playing with xbox360 controller so this might be the console version beside the guy that was playing said the game is still in development .. so wait and see the final game

also the PC version is stand alone .. so don’t worry

we all loved witcher 1 and the engine wasn’t that good and still we all bought it , played , loved it .. for the story and gameplay
now it witcher 2 has superior graphics and better story and gameplay

How nowbody try to understand that almost all new games on PC support the 360 controller natively. It is the PC version but it is just played wit a gamepad for many reasons. The most important is if the guy that play the game is infront the monitor and play wit kb and mouse it will block the view. And wit the controller he can see the screen and other can see the screen.

^It does. But then its a third person game on PC where you arent shooting, so its to be expected.

^Someone never played Gothic games or Prince of Persia on PC.
