Japanese hardware charts - DS going less mental, 360 breaks 100,000 in 2010

360japan

DS smashed every other format in Japan last week with combined SKU sales of 56,271, but the figure was well down from the previous chart's 64,191, a spike caused by the release of new DSi LL colours.

PS3, PSP and Wii toughed it out in the middle of the chart with sales over 20,000, and Xbox 360 sank back down below 10,000 following the previous week's Monster Hunter-related 17,370 high.

There's a Microsoft milestone in there, as well: Xbox 360 has now sold more than 100,000 units in Japan this year, as you can see below. Congrats to the MS Japan team. We think.

Here's the lot, from June 28 to July 4:

  1. DSi LL - 32,661
  2. PSP - 24,685
  3. Wii - 21,964
  4. PS3 - 20,077
  5. DSi - 18,271
  6. Xbox 360 - 7,303
  7. DS Lite - 5,339
  8. PS2 - 1,594
  9. PSP go - 1,024

Last week's data is here.

And here's your Japanese year-to-date sales:

  1. DS - 1,180,325
  2. PSP - 1,101,666
  3. Wii - 818,945
  4. PS3 - 756,325
  5. Xbox 360 - 105,969
  6. PS2 - 45,372
