Dead Rising 2 Euro special edition announced, pictured [Update]
Update: Capcom has told Joystiq: “We are not bringing the Outbreak Edition to North America,” but “something special will be announced for North America very soon”. That’s that, then.
Original: Capcom has announced a European Dead Rising 2 special edition called The Outbreak Pack. See it, zombie statue and all, below the drop.
It’s very swish, and features a 12” zombie figurine complete with accessories like a Servbot head, as well as a download token for a bonus theme pack and additional specific content for the PS3 and 360 versions.
A new Dead Rising 2 blog has also gone live with forums, content and other fun zombie-filled goodies added weekly.
Check out the screens of the special edition, along with the normal release’s box-art below.
Dead Rising 2 is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 September 28 in the US and October 1 in Europe.

If it’s DirectX 10 like Capcoms other titles, I may consider getting this on PC.

Looks like 2 discs in the pictures up there. What are the second discs? The extra content?

pc gaming is always still going to be one of the best experiences but I wouldn’t rule out consoles, just ignore kinect and move and they might go away!
