Rumor – Borderlands GOTY edition coming this fall

GameStop has a Borderlands GOTY Official Strategy Guide listed on its site.
While there hasn’t been an announcement for a GOTY edition of the shooter, the book listing has the net buzzing.
A special edition of the game would not be a surprising move, since Take-Two CEO Ben Feder said back in May the firm plans to continue supporting the title, and then in June there was that cryptic trademark filed by Gearbox with the USTPO.
If true, the disc will be filled with the original game plus DLC packs The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
Currently, the guide is slated for release on September 9, so we’ll send Take-Two a mail and find out what’s up.
Thanks, Joystiq.

Is this game any fun to play SP? The co-op is meant to be great, but I’m not a multiplayer gamer. Advice, pl0x?

I bought it at launch and lost friends to play with so I never finished. I would pick up a $30 GOTY edition with all the DLC. That would be awesome!
@7 – The SP experience is great if you never enter CO-OP. Once you play it CO-OP, the SP then seems boring. That’s why I never finished it. It is an extremely fun co-op game.
