GT5 has two special editions, says Sony India boss

PlayStation India boss Atindriya Bose has reportedly confirmed Gran Turismo 5 is to have a second, monster CE.
The exec dropped this info in a chat with IndianVideoGamer.
“For GT5, there are two collector’s editions,” said Bose.
“One is the game plus some added content and collectibles, while the other is in a really big package with a lot of paraphernalia that goes beyond the game. It’s all car-related, but I’m unaware of the exact contents.”
At the same time, Amazon.fr has listed a “édition ultime” for the game for €190. No mention was made of contents.
SCEA announced a GT5 CE at E3, to feature a diecast Nissan GT-R Spec V in GT livery, a GT-branded key-chain, a certificate of authenticity, a code for five DLC cars and more for $99.99.
Gran Turismo 5 releases on November 2 in the US. No European release date yet.
Thanks, TSA.

This really is heading into the realm of “super-game”. I’m pretty sure that’ll be the most expensive CE ever made.

I’m not going to buy for 150 GBP, but i’m sure that i will buy that with Kyosho model.
I like Kyosho models and 99$ is a real deal.

Do any of them actually include the game?

@4 It’s called fanservice. Why CE is a bad thing?
I really want one Kyosho model and for 99$ it’s absolutely worth it, because 1 Kyosho model cost 50$-100$.
but here is a game, Nissan GT-R Spec V, chain and DLC.

They should do an $80,000 pack – a GTR with the game attached with sticky tape.

They could even make a special edition SLS with a PS3 built in.

They just feck up the sticky tape and it would remove the paint work when you took it off.

Cant wait for the Top gear episode for this, Jeremy Clarkson actually reviewed GT 4 last time so he may do it again.

I assume the most expensive pack comes with a driving wheel set.

One of the comments on Eurogamer:
“You remember how Halo 3 Legendary edition came with a Master Chief helmet? GT5 Ultimate Edition will come with the helmet of The Stig*
*might not be true”
I’d buy it. If you can wear it.
