Square unleashing Lord of Arcana on PSP

Square has announced Lord of Arcana for PSP, which looks to be its version of Monster Hunter.

If the game's title looks a bit familiar to you, it should. It was trademarked and given its own teaser site last year, with some sources attributing it to Lord of Vermilion.

The game includes four-player co-op, ensuring you don't have to "face tough monsters" on your own, with "simple and intuitive controls" allowing you to jump straight into the fray.

"Set in the world of Horodyn, players take on the role of slayers trying to get their hands on the incredible power of Arcana," said SCE product manager Rob Rutter on the EU PS Blog.

"With incredible visuals and non-stop action, mixed with great multiplayer co-op and creatures designed by a variety of world-famous illustrators, Lord of Arcana is not to be missed when it comes to the PSP system."

No date just yet, but it's coming.
