Need for Speed: Shift 2 mentioned ex-EA chap's CV

Hot Pursuit may be the talk of Need for Speed's town, but EA's hard at work on Shift 2 if a CV of an ex-EA programmer is a pointer.

Former senior programmer at Slightly Mad Studios, Chris Mcclure, mentions the title on his LinkedIn CV.

"Mostly worked on new open world technology but also worked on Need For Speed Shift 2."

Mcclure is now working at CCP.

The first NFS: Shift was released last year on PS3, 360, PSP and PC from Slightly Mad.

EA announced Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, from Criterion, at E3.

That releases in November in the UK and US.

Back in February, EA mentioned a second NFS title other than Hot Pursuit would be out by the end of March next year during its Q3 financials.

Thanks, superannuation.
