Black Ops is all about “new experiences”, says Treyarch
Treyarch head Mark Lamia has said that Call of Duty: Black Ops didn’t “draw anything from” Modern Warfare 2, mainly due to the developmental time frames, and because the studio didn’t want to.

Bungie didn’t want ‘Combat Evolved’ added to Halo title

US PSN update, June 1 – Tecmo Bowl, Mini-Golf
Sony updated the US end of PSN last night, and along with permanent price drops and sales, Tecmo Bowl has been added, some DLC for Just Cause 2 and STP for Guitar Hero 5.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II video shows Subject 1157
A video for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II has been released, and you can catch it after the break, courtesy of Eurogamer.
Revealed back in December and set for release on October 26 for PS3 and 360, the game’s website has also been updated, and puts you in the middle of Starkiller’s cloning tank.
After that, well, the rest is up to you. It’s all rather interesting and a good bit of a time waster that you can track on Facebook to show everyone how much work you are skipping out on at the office.

Euro PSN update, June 2 – Oddworld, LBP, Lost Planet 2
Sony has updated the European end of PSN with special offers that are available until June 9. These offers include some LBP PSP goodies, and a few games as well.
Highlights for the week include Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, and the LBP Modnation Racers Tag Costume. There’s more to it though, so head on through the break.
