It’s actually (based on prices from GAME) One bundle for £50, then 3 x £35 for the Move controllers, and 2 x £25 for the Sub controllers which comes to the total of £205. A good £75 less than you plucked out of the air.

It’s the staggered pricing that’s very appealing as well. Although to have four players play, it is more expensive than Kinect – obviously.

I don’t think you’ll even want to have 4 players at the same time, due to the limited viewing angle of the PlayStation Eye you’ll end up hitting the other players when the game calls for some vigorous flailing. It’s a bit of a problem even with two players (at least of my size… I’m 1m 90cm tall…).

You need four Move controllers for just two-players if you want to play any of the games that require two of them, like the fighting one.

I’m not even sure why Move’s price has been brought into this. It’s a totally separate issue.

Which makes Move cheaper.

However, having tried to get four people playing Wii at once before, believe me – you don’t need four sets of Move controllers. Unless you get a free first-aid kit thrown in.

The RRP for the controllers in the uk are 39.99 and 29.99 respectively. Four of each equals roughly £280.

GAME are obviously selling for less, but even at 35 and 25, that’s still £240 for four controllers.

Except none of the games demoed which is 4 players uses Nav controllers. It just 4 Move controllers. Even that gladiator game doesn’t use nav controllers and can be played with an option of one move controller. In so far its just SOCOM4 and probably killzone3 that uses those sub controllers.

You can also use the standard pad as a sub-controller. It may not be ideal, but it’ll get the job done.

@13 – You’re not sure what Move has to do with this? It has a lot to do with this, two rival technologies launching at the same time. Making comparisons between the price points of both isn’t unusual.

There are noises that the RRPs are in fact the same as the Game prices. Amazon dropped theirs too. We are also comparing to an unconfirmed Shopto price – which they admit is unconfirmed.

Regardless it is not that no games support 4 x wands + 4 x navi – it’s not supported fullstop. Any 4 player game will be 4 x wands. You will only ever need 2 x navi (or just use your standard controller)

Full Move experience cost under £85

You probably own two Dualshocks already.
You maybe own a PSeye

So the only thing you need to get is two Move controllers and you are set for the full Move experience.

For £85 you get the PSeye and two Move controllers and you probably want the navigation controller for £25.

For £100 you have the full experience and most of the games has the option to be played with the normal Dualshock. I can’t wait to be able to plat two player split-screen with some friends and introduce them to more hardcore games when they are playing with the Move and I’m just sitting back and playing as usual with my dualshock.
