Rumour - Reggie "mistaken" about 2011 3DS release

According to a Kotaku rumour, NoA boss Reggie Fils-Aime was "mistaken" over the 2011 3DS release he dropped on US TV over the weekend.

The site's Japanese sources haven't made it clear if the handheld would still release in the US this year, but this could be a further sign of a 2010 Japanese launch, adding credence to a Japanese retailer listing this morning.

UK retailers The Hut, Best Buy and Asda are convinced the wonder-machine won't be out until next year in Europe.

Fils-Aime's already said that 3DS will be out in all major regions by March 2011.
