Reggie confirms 2011 launch for 3DS on Fallon

3ds2

Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed to Jimmy Fallon on his Late Show last night that 3DS would be released in the US during 2011.

So, that’s that, then.

Reggie dropped the year without giving a particular month or region.

Nintendo has said many times that 3DS would be out before March 2011 with one region possibly getting it in 2010. Guess it’s not the US,then.

Watch Reggie on Fallon for yourself below – the date hits around the 1:57 mark.

Donkey Kong Country is looking good, i’ve overlooked my Wii the past year but with a new Zelda, Epic Mickey, Kirby and Donkey Kong all looking impressive it seems i’m gonna have to buy some more Wii games oh and Wii Motionplus

Ewww. Donkey Kong looked arse. Shoe-horned in waggle controls because they didn’t put enough buttons on the controller can feck right off.
