Yeah, it pretty much looks like Firefight gets the same level of implementation as the competetive multiplayer in Halo 3.

I don’t get it. Whatever this firefight mode is, it looks like a standard defend the base while the AI keeps coming… it’s sad to see this guy get several kills just by shooting in general proximity of an attacker. I had hoped it wouldnt be like the past ones and actually require some accuracy. I’m still interested in playing, it just seems kinda “soft” to me.
