Famitsu interview reveals new FF XIII Versus info

Thursday, 24th June 2010 17:24 GMT By Joe Anderson

Famitsu magazine managed to get an interview with Final Fantasy XIII Versus producer Tetsuya Nomura, who revealed some nice tidbits of information on the title.

Nomura said that your character can run to pretty much every location you can see on the screen, with the exception of the mountains.

The game includes vehicular transport, with characters having access to a car, which they’re free to drive whenever they see fit.

Unfortunately, Nomura didn’t go into detail on the game’s battle system, only saying that the battles will be mostly seamless.

Noruma wasn’t very forthcoming on any extra information, although he did hint at a big announcement coming for the game.

Final Fantasy XIII Versus is currently a PS3 exclusive, and a date has yet to be announced.

Thanks, IGN.
