Only one game in Sly Cooper Collection supports 3D

Sanzaru Games has revealed that only Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves will support 3D in The Sly Cooper Collection, because the original release already contained the tech’s framework in place.

When creating the original Sly 3, original developer Sucker Punch felt it would be a good idea for the game to support the feature, and shipped the game with as set of 3D glasses.

In the end, only a small portion of it actually supported 3D; however, since the game was already coded for it, this made the process easier for Sanzaru when implementing 3D into the reworked version.

As for the other two games? Well, the developer has promised to look into including 3D but is unable to confirm whether it will happen or not.

Upon release, the HD collection will also support Move through mini games.

Look for the game to hit retail in November.

I’m just happy to be getting these game in a remastered HD format. I missed them first time out but always fancied the look of them.

Sly Three used 3D any way for the PS2.

I’m with Robo_1 all the way. It’ll be years before I ever adopt 3D, so that functionality matters not to me. Just bring me the games, soon…now…
